Hey Everyone!!
Welcome back to a brand NEW Year! I hope everyone had a chance to relax and unwind with a good book over break. I would love to hear about what you read.
I read a couple of books over Christmas with my two boys.
The first is a family favorite of mine--The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson. I read this for the first time as a girl and LOVED it! It's about a family of trouble-making kids who land the lead roles in a community Christmas show. Everyone in town expects the show to be a complete disaster, but in fact, it becomes a beautiful reminder of what Christmas is all about.
The second book we read is another family favorite--The Polar Express by Chris van Alsburg. It's a beautiful story about believing in things you cannot see. I especially love all of the pictures in the book. They are beautiful and colorful and sort of dreamy.
